Posh Product Review: Polish & Co's 'Between Me & U'

I've just begun experimenting with red lip color in the past few months and I absolutely adore a great red lip now! I was totally missing out before. And likewise, having not done a red lip, I was not much of a red nails kinda gal either. But when I received Between Me & U, a fun red from Polish & Co, in my August COCOTIQUE Box I figured: why not give it a try! 

So I did. I came, I polished, I loved and now I'm sharing. 

What's great about this polish:

  • It has the perfect consistency--not watery, but not so thick that it barely falls off the brush

  • The color that you see when looking at the bottle translates exactly onto the nail

  • It goes on smoothly and easily

  • You really only need one coat, although I opted for two anyway

  • The deep pigment works perfectly for someone with red undertones in their skin (like me!)

I checked out the Polish & Co. website, and they have a variety of gorgeous colors with saucy southern names like Honey Please!, Mint to Tell You, and Sweet Caroline which I think is adorable. It is also a minority (African American female) owned company and all their polishes are 5 Free, containing no Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Dibutyl Phthalate, Toluene, or Camphor. 

I'm sold! I will definitely be purchasing more of their polishes in the future.
