Currently Inspired By....Pops of Pink and Pastels

I have been really inspired of late by soft neutral décor with pops of pink or other pastels that have been historically defined as “girl” colors. As The Kid gets older, he becomes less impressed with my affinity for bright color and frou-frou things so I try to be considerate of his point-of-view by toning it down in shared spaces. Still, I think there is a way that it can be done without going overboard, but instead inserting subtle splashes of frill. And if he continues to find even the smallest of touches too much for his masculine sensibilities, I can still go nuts in my bedroom (until that’s one day shared too) or my office, right? Right. #Girlyforlife
