Style Savvy 4th of July

Yesterday's 4th of July holiday was very low-key for me. With it falling on a Wednesday, recreational options felt limited since I needed to be in the office today. I did, however, don a fun patriotic outfit for a yummy lunch at Stanford Grill with the girls (great fun Mrs E. and Mrs H.!). And of course, I had to have my requisite summer treat--frozen yogurt.

eyelet dress: Old Navy (old. similar strapless version here) / blue and white waterfall necklace: Francesca's / arm candy: Rotary, Ralph Lauren (similar here), H&M (old) and gifted / rings: GLITTERRINGS / red shoes: GUESS via Marshall's / bag: Target (old) / sunnies (pictured below): Marc by Marc Jacobs via flash sale

The absolute best ahi tuna salad I have had, hands down. And the cornbread? I'm not a huge
bread fan, but I even ate the crumbs--draw your own conclusions.

Even my fro yo was (accidentally) patriotic yesterday!

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th holiday as well! Please continue to pardon the look of the site while it is under construction. I'm working with a designer on a new look (yay!), but a few things are slightly off as everything comes together.

I also finally got to announce via social media last Friday that I am a monthly blogger at the 'Fro Fashion Week blog for their 'Fro Fashion Friday feature. I'm so excited to be a part of this great blog, and would love it if you click over and check out my first post!
