This year I decided I would attend one bloggers' conference--my very first--and that conference ended up being Blogalicious Five. It was a great series of workshops: I learned a lot, got to meet a lot of really great women and fellow bloggers, and I got to hear Amy Du Bois Barnett (current Editor-in-Chief of Ebony, and former EIC of Honey Magazine--which is where I first fell into girl crush with her) deliver a keynote address. The latter was just BEYOND! Amy in person absolutely lived up to everything I've read from her including her letters from the editor, articles around the web and her tweets. That was probably the best part of the trip for me.
The other amazing thing was getting to catch up with these adorable darlings, two of my bestest friends. We got a little silly, but hey, what do you expect of 3 ladies out of town without their kiddos? ;-)

So we came, we learned, we laughed--we even danced a little bit.
Please don't mind the ugly red hotel carpet and caution signs on the door. We hardly left the hotel so this was the best scenery we could muster up for a photo shoot! But the scenery had no bearing on the fun!
