Super hot days call for super thin summer whites. A few weeks ago I wore this Loft dress to the office on a 90 degree day (with an over 100 degree heat index!) in the interest of keeping cool. After I was dressed I thought "very garden party chic". Throughout the day I got lots of comments that it was a very bridal look, but I'll take that too!
I didn't actually carry this clutch, as I needed the size of bag conducive to carrying work and daily essentials, but I thought it would be really cute for the photos.
I've been talking about trying a red lip for awhile now and I am absolutely loving experimenting! Normally I wouldn't wear a red lip for work, but I felt like 'Heaux' from the Rihanna x MAC Collection--with it's deeper undertones--kind of worked.
What do you think?
Things have been a little crazy for me recently between traveling out of the country (I hope to post more on that later) and one of my clients launching a new product--but it's also been a lot of fun. My trip to Mexico was soooo relaxing, and I got to see Queen Bey in concert in Brooklyn over the weekend which was amazing! So, I'm trying to just breathe and stay on top of everything, and hopefully get back to posting more regularly than I have for the past couple of weeks.
