Booklovers in Black | Style Savvy Weekend Rewind

Fun times were had on Saturday at the 25th Annual Enoch Pratt Booklovers' Breakfast. The ladies of LNL Book Club attended for the 3rd year in a row in our signature styling--all black with coordinating flowers. Our flowers and our full club name--Literature & Libations--always get tons of love from the other book clubs in attendance at the event, a shoutout from the event MC, and lots of photo opps from local media outlets; our first year in attendance we were featured in the Baltimore Afro-American newspaper. So this is always a fun morning.

In addition to consuming yummy breakfast foods, we were treated by keynote speaker, author Terri McMillan, to a preview reading of her next book; which is kind of cool in that it will ultimately be from the point of view of 15 different characters! I'll be interested to read it in full when it's released.

The rest of my weekend was a blur of sleeping and eating. I think my body just said "Enough!" and kind of shut down so that I would get some rest. Ramping up for another busy week though, so I enjoyed napping while I could.
