Local Savvy: What’s New and Posh in Baltimore

Maryland Fashion Exchange

If you love consignment shopping, you may want to check out Maryland Fashion Exchange’s fall sale next weekend, October 12 – 14, at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Timonium. Like all seasonal consignment sales, this one offers you the opportunity to not only shop—but also to sell your own gently used items and earn a percentage of the profit (I used to frequent Kid’s Clothing Exchange when my son was younger and quickly outgrowing all his clothes. It was a super easy way to make money that pretty much ROCKED). Maryland Fashion Exchange will have women’s and men’s clothing, plus non-clothing items as well. For more details, visit their website or like their Facebook page

Towson Town Center

A Steve Madden store will be opening in Towson Town Center in November, on level 3 in the Nordstrom wing—so shoe lovers, start saving for multiple adorable pairs now.

Vintage Baby

Popular Hampden Children’s Boutique, Urban Baby, has launched Vintage Baby for all you parents who want your baby to look as retro cool as you do. In addition to their modern collections, Urban Baby now offers a collection of vintage children’s pieces that reach as far back as the 1950s. Right now at the website, the boutique is featuring the MOST adorable pink dress and jacket set that my baby girl would totally be rocking in a nano second, if I in fact had a baby girl. Shop the website or visit the store in person at 3608 Falls Road.
