Eyes

I ran into my darling GG at the mall on Saturday and we spent a considerable amount of time drooling together over new products and fragrances at Sephora. She picked up one of Stila’s new smudge eye color crayons, and--after seeing the flawless application of the test she did on her hand--I am now dying to snag one of these 3-in-1 primer/shadow/liner miracles for myself. Also, ELF cosmetics have such great quality for their prices, and since I’ve been planning to experiment with eyelid primers, I figured this is a great place to start. Finally, I want lashes for days, every single day and if DiorShow mascara is good enough for the catwalk, it’s good enough for me!

Nails

The Thakoon for NARS nail polish collection is finally available today, and I want to snag every single glorious pastel in the limited edition line.

Skin

Bobbi Brown’s tinted moisturizer with SPF had me at: “Light coverage. Ideal for dry and very dry skin. …blends easily, giving skin a dewy look.” I’ve heard great things and read awesome reviews about it, and since I’ve taken to skipping foundation on most days in the summer, tinted moisturizer seems like a great way to give my face a little definition (in addition to bronzer, which I cannot live without). With Vitamin E and rosewater, Vitamin E face mist is light and meant for refreshing your face on those icky humid days. GG endorsed it last summer, and I am so into it for this year. A fresh face is the new black! I always had great skin and I never needed to do much to keep it that way, until I developed eczema (even now I rarely wash my makeup off at night. I know, I know!). I’m realizing, however, that I’m going to want to take better care of my skin if I want it to stay fabulous as I age. And a great skin care routine includes a great moisturizer, like Philosophy's Hope in a Jar.

The one thing noticeably absent from this list is a great lip! I’d love to stick to neutrals for day (like the Stila glazes mentioned here) but have a really chic go-to statement lip for evening.
