Fashionable Adventures in Chicago

The Big Bro's wedding in Chicago over New Year's weekend was a cause for celebration--and for shopping. There was no way I could make an appearance in the Windy City, but not step foot (however briefly) onto the Magnificent Mile, Chicago's Michigan Avenue. The plethora of amazing stores at all price points was shopgasm inducing, and the size of the stores was breathtaking; each store we entered had at least 3 floors. With precious little time on Saturday between brunch and the wedding ceremony, my mom, cousin and I went on a mini-shopping spree, during which I scored these fantastic items:

Prior to leaving home on Thursday, I also snagged a beautiful tri-color BCBG cocktail dress to be worn as my wedding attire. Styled with a Forever 21 shrug, black opaque tights, Steve Madden glitter pumps and Felix Rey Mesi Clutch, this was my final wedding fab look (sorry for the fuzziness of the mobile photo!).
