This past Sunday just felt like a jeans kinda day. The weather was gorgeous, but also a bit windy, and a skirt just felt like too much. So I opted for my favorite ripped pair for brunch with my cousins, and this simple, soft black pair of cropped skinnies for dinner with my parents. My favorite zebra sweater from Mango, and pops of magenta with pumps and jewelry finished the look. This necklace is my new favorite thing; it adds special sauce to the simplest outfit. 

Beyond the two birthday meals, my weekend was fairly tame. On Friday night I finally watched Catching Fire, the second movie in the Hunger Games trilogy (loved it);  I was up early on Saturday morning for a community service project, and then came home and finished season 2 of House of Cards (OMG!). I got some much needed down time and am ready to start a new week.
