In My Closet: Sam Edelman Peep-toe Pumps

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned that a nude pump had been on my wish list for a while and I ordered one from Shoe Dazzle (shown here). It looked fantastic in the photo, but I was sadly disappointed upon its arrival. The material on the upper portion of the shoe was already cracking, there was visible glue around the seams of the platform, and the heel appeared to be cracked in the back. Those puppies were barely out of the box before they were shipped back to the warehouse, and “purchase” was clicked on these lovers….

I have several pair of shoes from Shoe Dazzle and have not encountered an issue with quality before, so it is my hope that this was a fluke. Nevertheless I will take it as a sign that my relationship with this shoe is kismet, and that we will live happily ever after.
