Posh Beauty // Almonds for Inner AND Outer Beauty

Ever since I completed the Whole30 last year, I've been obsessed with almonds. I was never much of a nut person prior to that. Which, when I think about it, is interesting because my mother goes nuts (pun intended) for them no matter the type. I would occasionally crave peanut butter or the rare tablespoon of butter pecan ice cream, but other than that I would pass. But something about having to experiment with them again really turned my taste buds around and now I do almond everything: almond butter as a substitute for peanut butter, almond milk as a sub for dairy, almond meal as a sub for flour--you get the point. 

But what's most exciting about this little miracle food is how many benefits it has for health and beauty. I used it with pumpkin in a DIY facial mask and my skin was instantly refreshed and moisturized! Here are some other ways that almonds are amazing: 

For Skin: Full of Vitamin E (an antioxidant), almonds help prevent sun damage and keep the skin hydrated. (why my skin felt so great after the mask!)

For Hair: As a rich source of Vitamin D and magnesium, almonds provide strength and luster to locks.

For the Body: Almonds are a good source of protein and fiber, which helps you feel fuller longer. They also contain mono unsaturated fatty acids, which can help reduce cholesterol and LDL.

So,  how can you benefit from almonds if you don't want to eat them on their own, but you're also not into all the DIY masks and cooking ingredients? It's so easy!
