I’ve only just settled into a summer beauty routine, and already it’s almost time to change it up for fall. I’ve been experimenting with various versions of a minimalist beauty routine and finally settled on a mix of concealer and facial moisturizer to even out my skin (thanks again for the tip, GG!), a neutral eye shadow palette, black liner on my top eyelid + a mix of black and navy on the lower lid, mascara, bronzer and a shiny neutral lip (okay so maybe it’s not all that minimal, but it works for me!).

concealer | moisturizer | eye shadow | black liquid liner | navy liner | mascara | bronzer | lipstick
With drier air on the way, it’s time to start thinking about what I’ll work with for fall. I’m sure this list will become longer and longer as typically happens with things like wish lists, but these are a few of the products I’m currently dying to try.
Cover FX Total Cover Cream Foundation – Works well on sensitive skin and free of the “Inflammatory Five”: gluten, mineral oil, fragrance, parabens or talc--feels worth a shot to me. And it has SPF, which I’ve normally depended upon my moisturizer for, but as I learned recently in Mexico, there is no such thing as too much sunscreen.
Bliss Body Butter Maximum Moisture Cream – I always need extra moisture and Bliss Body Butters are always the perfect amount of creamy to lather on for that, plus a bit of shine—which is awesome for pale bare legs in the fall. I usually run straight for the blood orange, but vanilla + bergamot seems like a winning combo too.
NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer – I’ve fallen in love with nearly bare skin, so the natural progression is to a tinted moisturizer and NARS has a ton of shades.
Dior DiorShow Mascara – Allegedly, like, THE mascara to end all mascaras. And a NYFW fave, so what better time to try than in tandem with fashion month?
Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment – Nourishing oils and sugar make this the perfect overnight treatment to soften lips.
What’s on your fall beauty wish list? I’d love to hear about some other things I should try—a girl can never lust for too many products things at once.
