Prints have been heavily on my style radar this season. I’ve even been experimenting with more prints in my own wardrobe (like this tribal striped dress and a geometric patterned dress from Francesca’s seen here)—something I hadn’t done much of in the past. I’d bought into the “rule” that if you were a certain shape, prints wouldn’t work for your body; but as with everything, there are exceptions if you’re willing to do a little research to figure out what works for you.
While I love separates in coordinating or matching prints, I’m particularly a fan of print and pattern mixing. It is wonderful how a great stripe and a polka dot can blend so seamlessly; or what a great marriage can result from florals and chevron.
These bold print looks would garner high marks from me on a style report card (if such a thing existed).
Are you a fan of bold prints and/or pattern mixing?
